5/19/2026 – Finished! Glad to have included all my initial thoughts into the plugin!
Now I have bcs/ccs/rcs ring stream details, as well as metrics info I grabbed from MDAPI
I think I have included “everything a dev may need to know” as a GPU product. Codex is powerful! Most of the time I spent on this project is to read the charts Codex wrote carefully. Feels like it likes to find the “easier way” instead of “clear way”, from time to time. I will write another article to share thoughts on using AI.
But in general, I am surprised to see how things got arranged together. For someone only good at cpp/python/shell, it opens another door for me. Will do more similar projects for my knowledge enhancement. 😀
